ICS of Pennsylvania, Inc. assisted a client by determining the lawyer that she had retained and became romantically involved with was a fraud. The client became suspicious after providing the lawyer with Power of Attorney so that he could attend to her banking and business affairs. ICS of Pennsylvania, Inc. was able to determine that the individual was not licensed to practice law. Further investigation determined that this individual made a habit of exploiting other woman in the same manner and that he had a long arrest record of theft by deception and a host of judgments filed against him. The client was able to alert the authorities who are in the process of putting an end to the criminal career of this con artist.
